CARGOTEC CORPORATION, PRESS RELEASE, 24 June 2020 AT 09.00 (EEST)

Kalmar, part of Cargotec, has recently expanded our existing dealer, G&W Equipment, to represent Kalmar forklift and container handling equipment in one of the largest markets in North America.  G&W Equipment has been appointed as the authorized dealer for Kalmar counterbalance equipment in North Carolina and South Carolina, effective June 22, 2020. G&W will operate out of locations dedicated to sales, parts and service support in Charlotte (HQ), Greensboro and Raleigh, NC, plus Columbia, Florence, Greenville, and Ladson, SC. In addition, G&W will continue to represent Kalmar counterbalance equipment in the majority of the state of Georgia.

“With Kalmar’s long heritage of innovation and G&W’s focus on extraordinary customer solutions, we believe that this unrivaled team can take business to new heights,“ said John Sabbagh, Vice President, G&W Equipment.  “G&W has invested in the people, the products and the support to maximize productivity in the big truck market.  We have new trucks in stock, rental equipment in the fleet, parts on our shelves, trained and equipped technicians and a sales staff focused on the large truck industry.”

Kalmar is very excited to announce this enhancement to the Kalmar dealer body. We look forward to serving our customer needs in these markets, as we continue to grow and expand Kalmar business across North America. Our dealers are the key to our success in North America both before and after the initial sale. Through this dealer expansion, our customers will continue to receive exceptional support throughout the life of their Kalmar equipment.
